Rock's Most Underrated
The first time we saw Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde - Play was after a two-for-one offer from a casino in West Virginia. I liked their music, but since they were playing at a casino, I never expected them to sound as good as their studio albums. Frankly, I figured wrong. They are really good. I don't usually give concert reviews, but in this case, I felt it was my duty to do so.
They sound better than their studio albums. Their voice is incredibly strong, and you can hardly believe it's them. Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde - Play, over sixty and only five feet tall, has got the pipes, man! Neil Giraldo, their nice guy, song-writing long-term partner/husband, is jaw-dropping good on the guitar. His guitar chops at the end of the concert left the crowd in a rock frenzy.
This concert was no different. We sat up front and listened to wave after wave of amazed responses from people who were expecting average, like us the first time, but got blown away and won over by rock's most underrated band. Go see for yourself.
